So I have been a bit of a blog slacker lately, so I need to catch up! So I thought I would start would Xander. This summer he loved going fishing with Ash and amazingly actually held the fish! (This from the kid who doesn't like to be dirty AT ALL!) Here is one of his proud catches:
Also, this summer he loved watching the TV show Wipeout! He said that he wants to be on the show! He will laugh hysterically the entire hour of the show because he thinks it is so funny, which of course makes it more funny for us! He is definitely our little goofball!
Two weeks ago, he started kindergarten! It has been a rough transition for the both of us to wake up early since we are NOT morning people but we have made it on time for the bus every day so far. Unfortunately the transportation department can't get their act together and get his name on the bus list so I pick him up from school (After two weeks of EVERYDAY: chasing the bus, trying to wave it down, having them bring him back to the school, talking to everyone at the transportation dept, the bus driver (who is a complete idiot by the way), the school, his teacher, we gave up!!) Anyway, Xander loves his teacher and going to school. And he has a much better attitude with me when he gets home too!
First day of School Xander also loves his little sister! He can get her laughing harder than anyone else! Every once in a while, he will just sigh and say, "I'm so glad we got a little sister." It just makes my day to hear him say that! This is so different than a couple of months ago when he wanted nothing to do with her and didn't want to hold her, feed her, or even have her look at him! Now he is much more helpful and asks now if he can feed her a bottle or her baby food! I guess after being the only child for five years, it was quite an adjustment to not having all of mommy's attention anymore!

Xander looks so cute holding Marissa! Preston started school too and loves it. Funny how that changes over time. (Darn) My kids love Spongebob and Wipeout too. I think we should do it for a family reunion! My kids say Savannah loves Pepsi because I drank to much of it when I was pregnant with her. (I didn't, but they like to say I did) Have a great day!
