Xander's last day of preschool...ever!
After getting his certificate, I tried to get a picture but he was too quick and was already running off the stage, while yelling "I am a kindergartner!" This is so typical of Xander! This was the only picture of the ceremony that I got because it was so dark in there, but they did a really cute program. They did the Pledge of Allegiance, sang God Bless America, a song with the names of the states, days of week, and months of the year, ABC song, "'A' your Adorable", and "I Thank God" (he goes to a Christian preschool).
Xander with his friends Riley (L) and Afton (R) who have been in his preschool classes for the last two years at two different schools. They may end up in the same kindergarten also!
Posing with his teacher, Miss Denise. She was such a great teacher! Xander and I made her the bucket with candy flowers. He was so proud of it! He tried to hide it behind his back before he gave it to her so it would be a surprise! Miss Denise made a book with things he did at the beginning of the year (writing his name, a drawing of himself, etc) and at the end of the year. It was so fun to compare and see how much he has improved!

I love it! Preston can't wait till fall for kindergarten. He wanted to start on his birthday when he turned 5. He wasn't very happy when we explained that he still had to wait. Love the disney world pics. How fun! I've been wanting to take our kids there but haven't braved the taking little kids thing. Maybe when Savannah is 5. Hope things are still going good. Your kids are really growing. I can't belive that Marissa is already 3 months! Where does time go?
