So a couple of weeks ago, Xander started talking a little funny and then I noticed his teeth were at a weird angle. At first I thought he hit them on something since he is always jumping off of things, but when I looked closer I saw that there were some new teeth popping up behind them! So right after his birthday party, I was talking to him and noticed that it was bleeding around one of them and I told Ash that he should pull it out. Xander was kind of nervous so he held my hand while Ash put some orajel on his gums and pulled both of them out! That night he fell asleep on the couch before we could put his teeth under his pillow so the tooth fairy just left him a note by his tooth saver treasure chest and 4 quarters. The next morning when he came downstairs, he saw the money by his teeth and said, "MOM, LOOK...do you see that? The tooth fairy gave me FOUR quarters...probably because I was so brave, right?" He was SO excited! Now he is constantly sticking his tongue in the empty spot, but at least he is talking better (no more whistling)!

Wow, Xander, you are a brave boy! What are you gonna do with your quarters? My favorite part about missing teeth: you can drink through a straw with your mouth still closed. :-)
What?? Is he a little young for that? I am not prepared at all for that to start happening at our house.
